Performance
The Dept. of Brokerage has deemed REI to be one of the fast-rising leading Real Estate Companies in Korea Town of Los Angles, California because of REI’s fulfillment of more than 100 real estate contract cases per year with 20+ Sales Agents since 2003. REI sold a condominium of 20 units from Serrano & 11th Street and 20 units from Hobart & 11th Street in Korea Town between 2006 and 2007. These projects have been recorded as successful because of their 410 % and 330% returns on investment respectively. Currently (as of Spring 2010), REI is waiting for the most optimal time to construct a 30 unit condo on an apartment located at the cross streets of Oxford & 2nd St. of Korea Town. The Los Angeles city council has already approved REI’s request to construct this area. It is anticipated that REI will start constructing in early of 2011 desiring the better housing market. REI had received a request from an Institutional Investor in Korea to buy real estate in Korea Town and REI fulfilled the request by making a deal for the investor to buy a REO entity in Korea Town with a very good price at the end of Sept., 2009. REI contributed to the expansion of the real estate market by supporting the Institutional Investor’s effort to break into the U.S. market. This successful deal will foster continuous projects between REI and the Institutional Investors in Korea. The Appraisal Department of REI has appraised more than 200 cases of real estate each year for the appraisal orders that REI received from several Korean Banks in Korea Town since 2005. The category of the real estate includes apartments, commercial business complexes, industrial buildings, hotels/models, car cleaning centers, office buildings, newly built condos, and offices and etc.
